The present breeding is an effect of double linecrossing of the Quijote line. Linecrossing is a breeding technic used for increasing variability and belongs to so-called outcrossing or outbreeding techniques. Outcrossing is the philosophical and biological opposite of linebreeding and involves the mating of animals that are not related. The term “linecrossing” results from using animals from two different bloodlines within the breed. It brings advantages such as vigor, reproductive efficiency, and all effects of the term “healthy” incl reduce of all issues of the endocrine system. The quality of the offspring in linecross mating depends on the previous selections made in each of the lines.

In the breeding of Estoque and Orbea the quality of the parents and their ancestors are beyond doubt. Estoque comes from the line of Quijote marked by outstanding dogs like Drogo, Hierro, and Hito. This combination was crossed by the female called Pampera in origin within the lines of Alaju and Vieques.

Orbea is the daughter of Sufi and Hilo. Sufi is a very important female for our recreation of the so-called carpintero line. The Carpintero line is a reservoir of strong expression, power, size, and feline movement. Looking for a carpintero gene pool isn’t easy because and balanced by the care of genetically healthy, therefore we mated Sufi by Hilo.  Hilo is the most significant descendant of Quijote, with all characteristics of these noble dogs.

The coming litter is in our expectations close to our goal in alano breeding – noble, long-distance runners, the hunting catcher, well balanced, strong but not oversized, with a flat head, slanting eyes, and social behavior.

In the breeding of Estoque and Octagon the quality of the parents and their ancestors are beyond doubt.

Octagon represent the primal power of Carpintero line and the noble of Qujote.

The present breeding is an effect of double linecrossing of the Quijote line.  After the success of breeding Estoque and Orbea, we are continuing this combination. Searching for diversity brings us to the logical use of Octagon ( Orbea’s sister). These females represent the primal power of Carpintero line and the noble of Qujote
